This outstanding Culture & Beach Motorbike Tour was designed with the help of many customer feedbacks - allowing us to pick the most convenient route, choice accommodation and, most importantly, the best sights and beaches Sri Lanka has to offer.
Our Sri Lanka Motorbike Tours with included Off-Road or Classic Motorbike are the best and most economical way, if you are planning on driving a motorbike in Sri Lanka.
We work with carefully selected motorbike rental companies only - providing fully serviced bikes (Honda XR 250, XR 230, NX 650, Classic Royal Enfield 350), no hidden charges and a 24h assistance hotline.
Please note that, on longer distances, the Classic Motorbikes are more comfortable for two riders than the Off-Road Bikes.
All motorbikes are imported and maintained to the highest standards at the motorbike rental company's private workshop.
We also make sure that all included hotels provide secure parking, so you don't have to worry when enjoying the beach, shopping or dining out.
All our Sri Lanka Motorbike Tours start and end in Negombo, just next to the international airport of Sri Lanka. Together with a representative of the motorbike rental company, we will meet you at your hotel (mostly the morning after your arrival) to process the required paperwork. If you want to get on the road right away, please make sure that you have supplied copies of the required driving documents at least 7 working days prior to arrival. See the Renting a Motorbike in Sri Lanka section for more information about self-driving in Sri Lanka.

Some of its frescoes are over 2,000 years old – and there is a colossal figure of the recumbent Buddha caved out of the rock, some 14 meters long.

Day 3 : After breakfast visit Sigiriya: This rock fortress was a royal citadel for more than 18 years. In a sheltered pocket, approached by a spiral stairway, are the famous frescoes. The UNESCO-sponsored Central Cultural Fund has restored Sigiriya’s 5th century Water Gardens to be former glory. In the afternoon sightseeing of the ancient city of Polonnaruwa (10th-12th century A.D). You will visit the modern museum, the Parakrama Samudra (gigantic reservoir made by king Parakrama the Great), Statue of King Parakrama, the Library Shrine, Palace of King Parakrama, the Kumara Pokuna (pond used by royal family with the water flowing system), the Shiva temple, the Thuparama shrine room with its glittering statues, the Alahana Monastery Complex, the Gal Vihare (a master peace of stone carving), the Lotus Pond and a traditional wood carving factory. Day 4 : After breakfast visit Kandy city: Sri Lanka’s hill capital is, perhaps, its most beautiful town. It is 488 meters above sea level and Sri Lanka’s most visited place. The focal point of the town is the golden-roofed Dalada Maligawa, where the sacred tooth relic of the Buddha is enshrined.
In the afternoon you will enjoy a picturesque drive through Sri Lanka's hill country . En route visit a tea factory and a plantation . In the afternoon you will reach Nuwara Eliya (the so-called Little England) with its colonial hotels, the race course and golf courses.

The park is also home to a large herd of almost 100 elephants who roam free amongst the colossal 1259 sq. km expanse of the park. Yala National park’s landscape includes dense jungle, lagoons, water holes, streams, and open parklands, and it even backs on to the sea, providing excellent ocean views. After safari you will drive along beautiful beaches with the opportunity to stop wherever you like to take dip.You will visit the blow hole in Dickwella, fishing village in Weligama and watch the famous stilt fisherman in Ahangama before proceeding to Unawatuna.

Day 7 : In the morning you can visit Galle, a bustling provincial capital and administrative centre for the South. Once a port, Galle was Sri Lanka’s first international commerce and trade centre, and these days the streets are still awash with a cosmopolitan range of goods available to buy in exotic markets and quirky art galleries. The Dutch presence is still visible in Galle, and should you want to retrace the footsteps of the Dutch rule, let our guide give you the tour of the old Dutch fort (a UNESCO World Heritage site), the Dutch Government House, the former New Oriental Hotel (built in 1684), the old bell tower, and the Dutch tide-based sewage system.
On your way back to Negombo, you can stop over at the beach resorts of Bentota and Beruwla or for high tea at the former residence of the British Governor in Mount Lavinia, the first suburb of Colombo when coming from the South.
Using the old Colombo - Negombo Road, when leaving Colombo, is a more scenic drive with less traffic than the newer main road.
