SRI LANKA BEACH TOUR PACKAGE ITINERARY (7 days / 6 nights)
Day 1 : After meeting you at the airport, we begin the transfer 'down south', driving along Sri Lanka's scenic West- and South Coast. If you prefer the (longer) coastal road to the highway, you'll be passing Sri Lanka's capital city Colombo and the famous beach resorts of Bentota, Hikkaduwa and Unawatuna. Great Ocean Vistas, lush nature, ancient temples and historical sites like the Galle Fortress will have you in the perfect holiday mood even before arriving at your beach resort in Ahangama.
Ahangama is a wide stretched fishing village on Sri Lanka's South Coast, with beautiful beaches, and some of the best surf spots on the island. Enjoy walks along uncrowded beaches, still untouched by mass tourism and be fascinated by the famous stilt fishing men. Another interesting place to visit in nearby Koggala are Buddhist hermitages which are situated on a couple of islets on the Koggala Lake.

TIP: While staying in the Sout of Sri Lanka don't miss organizing an excursion to the Sinharaja Rainforest with us. Situated in the wet south-west of the island, this is the country’s premier rainforest. The canopy towers up to 45m in places and more than half of the trees here are found nowhere else in the world. Mixed-species bird flocks are a key feature of Sinharaja. Around six endemic birds may make up one flock, including species such as red-faced malkoha, green-billed coucal and Sri Lankan blue magpie. Animals present include leopard, purple-faced langur, barking deer and three types of squirrel.
