Room was very comfortable: it had everything included good and in very good condition furniture. Everything worked air con/ fan hot water. Lovely view on to garden good size room and batroom. Nice restaurant with good food at good prices. Can't understand how some people rated poorly on cleaness. I am very fussy and this place was very clean. Lovely large villa situated in very well looked after gardens. It made an excellent stopover on the way to Arugam bay. We walked to the beach but could had taken a tuk tuk. It was easy to catch a bus to Arugam bay from the hotel as it was in the same street.
The rooms at the Nandawanam Guest House are available as a/c and non a/c double rooms; all with modern en-suite bathroom. Free Wi-Fi is available and the restaurant of the guest house is well known for its authentic Sri Lankan Rice & Curry. Not to mention the fresh seafood.
