     The guest can delight on the Gem River in our land, with pleasant clean water and refresh body and mind. We promote the home medicinal plants heritage of Ayurveda and share the knowledge of the "science of life" for a balance of body and spirit in Art of living.
Gem River Edge organises safaris in Yala National Park to observe the wild life and vegetation; tours by bicycle long the lakes, paddy fields and through small villages with mud houses on the border of the jungle; visits to the Temple, participate in the evening Pooja and purify ourselves. The kitchen and lounge area are made from mud and palm leaves. We serve Sri Lankan cuisine prepared daily, cooked on an open fire with terracotta pots. We use organic ingredients, seasonal vegetables, curd and fruit of our land. In the bar we have herbal drinks, tea, coffee and fruit juices.
