The Teak House - Tangalle, Sri Lanka

	The Teak House is a private villa situated in the village of Seenimodera, some 5 km from Tangalle in the very south of Sri Lanka, renowned for its exquisite and incredibly safe beaches
Constructed entirely of teak, one of Sri Lanka’s sustainable hardwoods, the Teak House is set upon one and a half acres of coconut plantation on a hill above the beach to benefit from the wonderful breezes that come off the Indian Ocean.

The two enormous boutique-style bedrooms of the Teak House are with en suite bathrooms and very hot showers. Each bedroom boasts a seven foot four poster bed, wreathed in a fine white mosquito net.

The tropical garden has matured into a wonderful cacophony of colour and texture, boasting a vast
wealth of beautiful and varied hibiscus and flowering ginger. With its own plantation, guests must ask one of the boys to bring a coconut as and when they like.

The villa has a small but very well equipped kitchen within the outside/inside living area.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner are at your discretion - eat in or out. Our staff loves to cook and will purchase and prepare the menu you require.
