Koggala Koggala is more popular for its scenic river and the lake scattered with islets including the legendary Madol Doova ( mangrove islet), which has become famous by the book written by the internationally renowned Martin Wickramasighe. An ideal surrounding for bird watching, boat trips and canoeing.
Galle Fort
You can spend hours exploring the famous Dutch Fort, go shopping at one of the oldest markets of Sri Lanka and the modern shopping complexes or you can enjoy the feeling of "the good old times" at one of the colonial-style hotels and restaurants.
