	The House of Lotus in Dodanduwa - a small village South of Hikkaduwa, is a stylish Yoga Retreat with a difference; surrounded by a lush tropical garden the colonial style bungalow is located only few steps away from the sea and the white, uncrowded beaches.
The House of Lotus is specialized in Yoga Lessons (Yoga Holidays) for beginners and intermediate levels; but even if you are not interested in Yoga you are most welcome.

The Yoga Retreat offers a Patio, a common room with its own library
and a spacious covered verandah as dining room. All the seven well
appointed, light and spacious double-rooms are boasting their own terrace. The rooms are decorated with lots of flair and furnished king-size beds, mosquito nets, shower with solar heated water, fan and air-conditioning.

In addition to the Yoga packages the House of Lotus offers a special Ayurveda room for massages, aroma and steam baths, treatments with ayurvedic herbal medicine as well as "sound massages", Acupuncture, Acupressure, Shiatsu und Homeopathy.

There is no menu at the House of Lotus. Every evening a different
dinner and ever morning a delicious breakfast is prepared. Be
surprised by all the different treats the Sri Lankan kitchen has
to offer! The choice of meals is always in accordance with the
requirements of the guests.

The House of Lotus Yoga Retreat is situated in the small fishing village Dodanduwa, three hours south of Colombo, the commercial capital of Sri Lanka. In short distance of the famous beach resort of Hikkaduwa and only 20 minutes away from the historical UNESCO heritage site, Galle Fort.
